While Construction Safety Professionals may primarily be involved in safety inspections, program audits, incident investigations and assisting with corrective actions, they will at one point or another in their careers be called on to deliver training courses on construction safety and they may even be tapped to develop training courses. Normally, safety training courses have assessments that measure competency on the material in the course. The most common type of assessment in construction safety courses, aside from hands-on demonstration, is a quiz or “Knowledge Check.” This assignment provides students with an opportunity to develop a Knowledge Check.
Create a 10 question multiple choice Knowledge Check using Google Forms that you would administer to new employees at a construction company where you may be employed in the future and asked to teach an Introduction to Construction Safety course during a week-long new hire orientation. The quiz should cover content from all weeks of the course.
To submit your quiz on google forms, invite your instructor as a collaborator on the form (do not send them the form to be completed as your submission for this assignment). To do so, click the “...” at the top right of your form. From the drop down list, select “add collaborators” then type in your instructor’s email. This will give them viewing and editing permissions to your form
